Filler Panels, also called "blanking panels", are used to control the airflow inside of server racks. Without the use of blanking panels, the hot exhaust air from the servers can be recirculated through the server rack and back into the servers, and significantly reduce the cooling efficiency of the system. Data centers or IT labs that have Open Frame Racks, closed server cabinets or a 2 Post rack can benefit from the use of blanking panels.
